DMCA Policy
Bollyflix respects copyright and reviews properly documented notices concerning links or material appearing on bollyflix.lc.
1. Our content model
Bollyflix is designed to feature public-domain films, Creative Commons releases, and works shared through an official or creator-authorized source. We generally provide descriptions and links rather than hosting third-party movie files. We do not knowingly promote unauthorized copies of protected films.
2. Before submitting a notice
Please confirm that the reported URL is on bollyflix.lc and that you have considered whether the use is licensed, public domain, authorized, or otherwise permitted by applicable law. If the concern is about a file hosted by another service, you may also need to contact that service directly. Bollyflix cannot remove material from a third-party server that it does not control.
3. Information required for a copyright notice
To help us identify and review the issue, send a written notice containing:
- Your full legal name and reliable contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be affected.
- The exact bollyflix.lc URL where the disputed link or material appears.
- A clear explanation of what should be removed or corrected.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or valid electronic signature.
4. Where to send a notice
Email the complete notice to [email protected] with the subject “Copyright Notice.” Plain-text details in the email are preferred. Do not send password-protected attachments or executable files.
5. Review and action
After receiving a sufficiently detailed notice, we may review the page, source, license information, and the sender’s authority. We may remove or disable a link, correct a description, request additional information, preserve relevant records, or contact the affected source or contributor. Taking temporary action during review does not necessarily mean that infringement has been established.
6. Counter-notices and mistakes
If you believe a link or description was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, contact the same email address and clearly identify the affected URL, the earlier notice, the basis for your position, and your contact information. Depending on the applicable process, additional declarations, consent to jurisdiction, or a signature may be required before restoration can be considered.
7. False or abusive notices
Do not knowingly misrepresent ownership, authorization, infringement, or material facts. Fraudulent, automated, or abusive requests may be rejected and may carry legal consequences under applicable law. This policy is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer.
8. Trademark and other concerns
Copyright notices are not the correct process for every dispute. For trademark, privacy, impersonation, defamation, or other legal concerns, email [email protected] with a precise explanation and supporting information. We will route the message for appropriate review.
